The sudden resignation of Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung has left the people of India talking!
Shri Najeeb Jung was one of the few appointees of the last government who has managed to survive all throughout the conflicts with Modi Government and with Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi Party Rising. He came in power as 20th Lt. Governor of the National Capital Territory of Delhi on 9th July 2013. So, what has made him give up his throne?
Within hours of his resignation, many debates rose stating that his leadership was threatened since long. Is it because Najeeb Jung was on target with Kejriwal?
Or, it is because of his stern criticism in many bureaucratic circles owing to his decisions in the corporate circuit.
Mr. Jung was an intelligent officer, a former Indian Administrative Services (IAS) officer from Madhya Pradesh Cadre and former Vice-Chancellor of Jamia Millia Islamia.
About his journey, Mr. Jung held a lineage of power. His grandparents have served as the Chief Justice and Chief Engineer in the court of last Nizam of Hyderabad. His great grandfather was on the panel of founders of the Aligarh Muslim University.
The uncertain nature of the event put the nation in doubt, and we are seeking for the answer. Hope the luminaries of power throws some light on the matter soon. Till now he didn’t given any exact reason to press and media about his resignation but he says thanks to delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and PM Narendra Modi.
